✨How can I ask the world to give me a level playing field when I haven't done it myself? How can I consider someone unworthy in my eyes and not fitting of my definition of holiness without first considering that God sees them differently? What is Agape Love, after all? Isn't it what Jesus came to do for us?

What is Agape Love, after all? Isn't it what Jesus came to do for us?

❤️‍🔥He reached out to a woman at the well, who considered herself unworthy because of the stigma of culture: she was not married, but Christ's Agape thought otherwise.

❤️‍🔥A woman with an issue of blood for 12 years touched the edge of His garment so that she could be made whole (And she, by law was considered unclean because of her condition). Yes He made her whole

❤️‍🔥He let a woman pour oil to anoint and wash his feet. She poured her worship out upon Him (this woman in the eyes of others was a harlot, and therefore unclean and unholy). Yet, Christ's Agape reached out to receive her worship and contend for her soul.

❤️‍🔥 He ate with sinners (who by Jewish law, and in the eyes of the Pharasees and Sadducees were considered sinners, and unholy). He gave them the opportunity not only to hear the message of the Kingdom but the opportunity to reach out to the Kingdom and be made Holy by faith in Christ.

❤️‍🔥An adulterous woman was brought before Jesus. She deserved to be punished according to the Law of Moses. But Jesus judged by a NEW LAW, the Law of AGAPE. He didn't condemn her, and He also pointed her towards living a Holy Life. This Law of AGAPE is the Law of Grace and Truth and the Law of Life in the Spirit. If we are justified by faith (by believing in what AGAPE came to do for us: to save us) then we walk by the same Law of faith, and therefore the Law of our Justification.

The Apostle Paul said to the Galatians, all the Law is summed up in one commandment: YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF

✨The Message of the Cross will offend many and the clergies of our day are sadly caught in a standards not worthy of the Message of the Cross. But the extravagant Love of God will contend for your heart. God will contend for you. He will pursue you with abundant love. He was not afraid to be persecuted for our sake. He didn't hold back his life from demonstrating what true Agape means. He came to seek and save that which was lost. He came to seek and save that which was unholy.

The Message of the Cross was a stumbling block to the Jews because they lived under the control of the Law and not under the New Law of Grace and Truth. And as a Christian, you may be judging others by the law of your own definition of holiness, and not the true law of holiness through Faith in the Love of God. Knowing this truth sets you free.

🔥Will you carry the same Message of the Cross to those who are in need of His Agape today?

💛"Love your neighbour as you Love yourself"

Galatians 5:1-14
